The Government has decided to ban a peaceful march called by the Stop the War Coalition on 8 October. The protest has been called to demand all the troops withdrawn from Iraq immediately. The police have said all protests within one mile of Parliament are now prohibited. This is an affront to democratic rights and contradicts the Prime Minister?s commitment to liberalising protest laws. We urge the authorities to review this decision.

I think there using democractic in the wrong way. A march is libertarian, otherwise it would be known as a "lynch mob"

This is a fine example of how confused people are. If you want to be democratic go ahead, it's just not fun when your not the majority. Democratic is a relative of collectivism, and is therefor related to socialism. I think the word most people intend for is libertarian. Libertarian is a relative of indvidualism. Liberatrians can also be called classical republicans. Not neo-conservatives like we see today in the republican party. A simple description of democratic would be  majoritarian belief, and a simple definition of libertarian would be individual belief.

Thanks to the media, all the original definitions are screwed up. You have to do some serious info hunting in order to find something real.

Democratic: Their right to protest.
Libertarian: Our right to protest.

Democracy: People ruling people.
Dictators Republic: A man telling people what rule is.
Constitutional Republic: A constitution protecting peoples freedom to rule one's self.

Democratic government can be just as tyrannical. If you want to look into this more, check out non-modern day definitions on the internet, not the modern one's. A definition gains validation with age.

Looks like I overeacted again, but hey, you cant help it when you see a major problem.

Its not about definitions its about lies, deceit and murder of hundreds of thousands of people

Ron Paul is the last classical republican alive. He switched from the libertarian party because he wanted to show he wasn't afraid. I to think RonPaul is amazing.
