is interesting. why does it work. why is there no sticky point. this gauss gun uses only magnet force and no gravity. is better than a smot, i think. how does it function physically?

my first impression is, the additional steal-ball touching the magnet(s) take a short time to be magnetized and flips over polarity of exactly one ball (the last one) for a short time, which shots it away from the others. if this is true, it show, that metallic-material interferes with magnets and their timing.

Hi Grim,

you have inspired me.
I`ve seen some videos about area15 this days.
Think about a raund track (tube) with four aircoils at 0/90/180/270? or other configuration.
What happens to a mass e.g. steelball (there should always be a mass to store and share the energy) which is pulsed at the right time and position ?
Maybe one pulse is enough to shoot the ball in the circle motion and you get 3 pulses back from the rest of the coils, rectify and collect and measure coulombs to one condenser.
Thats my project for sure.
The ball acts as e=m*c^2 storage device with a memory effect due to changing speed.
Backwardreaction could be canceled out due to high speeds in the super sonic range. Therefore the backwardreaction could act as inwardreaction followed by the next pulse. Understand?
Basicly the track follows one fieldline of the aircoil and therefore the ball itself acts as a complete core.
An infinitisemal magnetic core which is at the same time carrier for electrons and overlightspeed electrons (magnetic particles, electrons with extremly alterated orbitals in the range of e.g. 30cm=Trackradius).

The coils surface is in the same direction as the ball is propelled. The ball (or a magnet of any size, TPU)   is the carrier of a mass of electrons. Maybe Lorentz is astonished when the object is rotated which his force acts to.

...we could design a coilgun with feedback circuit coils or use back emf to feed next coil (differnt coils to match properties of BEMF).
