As you may know, I am a licensed private investigator and maybe I can help you with the phone recording.  PM me and tell me a little bit more about your isdn phone. (I am not familiar with this technology) There may be an easy solution.  I have rigged up recording devices for landlines, cell phones, etc. (Legally)  Also, I am serious that myself, and I know many others, would contribute to this cause.  This interview might shed some light on what is, or is not, a viable source of information.  This is great news.  I hope to hear from you.

Germany

In Germany, ISDN is very popular with an installed base of 25 million channels (29% of all subscriber lines in Germany as of 2003 and 20% of all ISDN channels worldwide). Due to the success of ISDN, the number of installed analog lines is decreasing. Deutsche Telekom (DTAG) offers both BRI and PRI. Competing phone companies often offer ISDN only and no analog lines. Because of the widespread availability of ADSL services, ISDN is today primarily used for voice and fax traffic, but is still very popular thanks to the pricing policy of German telecommunication providers. Today ISDN (BRI) and ADSL/VDSL are often bundled on the same line., mainly because the combination of ADSL with an analog line has no cost advantage over a combined ISDN-ADSL line.

The easiest way to do a recording is probably to just set the phone on speaker phone and then use your usual equipment pirate, since the line is digital.

Okay, maybe I can use

I have to try this out first.

Otherwise you are right, I could just try to use
a WAV recording program to use just a microphone to
set my ISDN phone on external speaker mode and just put the microphone
ontop of it and record this to a WAV file and convert later to MP3.

The question is now,
does anyone have the phone number of Mr. Trapp and would he aggree to
answer questions for 100 US$ and really tell us all the secrets and
could I post the recording then over here ?
