......can anyone direct me to a  site that has information on constructing simple generators?  Thanks

Hi,

You may get some help from members here if you specify output frequency, output level, output waveform/ duty cycle etc??

By the way,  there are at least two generator building designs on this Forum too.  Or you need simpler ones?

What is the problem?

Almost any straight DC motor when turned will generate electricity. Buy a cheap cordless drill, hitch it to a drive mechanism and you have a generator.

Hi,   I think I thoroughly misunderstood you: somehow  I thought you were looking for pulse or audio or signal generators....  but seeing Hans answer, it dawned on me what you had really asked for.   Sorry.

Thanks for the replies guys, but is there any way I can use the magnets on a so-called magnet motor to generate electricity? Mechanical things I understand pretty well, but I know very little about electrcity.     Thanks again
