At least quiet interesting when I understand that correctly. Possible it is another version of the "Steven Marks TPU".

This alu plate thing is a spark gap thing (20-30KV should easily penetrate air between plates spaced 6 inches apart), not really the same as SM TPU, but the basis of function should be the same: high current pulses that happen in the circuitry at high occurence frequency.

The interview left me with the impression that he understands the passion and the frustration that many of us have been experiencing.  He knows that his clear video will be his best contribution here, (having no direct internal access to the device himself.)  I do not think that he will spoil it for the rest of us just because a few folks happen to express their passion and frustration on hidden keyboards with drunk and disorderly posts.

However, one never knows with human nature.  If the right button gets pushed, then we move on without.

The design may still have merit but it was never duplicated even by the inventor Clifford Hazelton as per Jerry W. Decker Wed, 28 Oct 1998 22:16:36 -0600.

As far as Jack Durban, I would hope that he could convince at least one person who he mentions that has successfully replicated SM's TPU tech to come over here and discuss their findings before it's too late for this world as we know it.

I think thats a bit unfair entire threads have been devoted to this spin. My self included suggested it may not be required to force the spin yourself it happens the same way as a hurricane. You create a depression it will spin naturally. Others described it as water going down the drain from the bath tub. The hendershot device worked in a similar fashion. There was no powerfets firing 2 mu Second pulses every 90 degress or any such thing. The coils were basically free running hartley or colpitts oscillators.

This is everything in a nutshell

    Rotation of field. . . How many people think about that.
    If you could have a field that you could think of as a big ball.
    And you could rotate it in two directions what would the ramifications be?

Yes of course free running oscillators take time to build up oscillations. They can be kept locked using simple AFC techniques. Hendershot invented his device about 1920 i think. The principles of the TPU operation almost certainly refer to build and radio techniques   available  from this era.
