     If two tanks are resonating at the same frequency (especially at a harmonic of the beat freq) but out of phase a voltage is developed between the two resonant tanks.  This voltage can be collected on a capacitor or circulated as current between the two resonating portions of the circuit without dampening (1) the generating resonant circuits. Why go to these lengths why not just generate a pulse.  Because the exchange of energy between the tanks is conserved and does not represent a loss from the circuit.  We can dampen the oscillations in the transfer part of the circuit without effecting the primary oscillators.  This dampening is for free. (2)

(1) I think you meant undampening.
(2) Because damped waves (energy pulses, frequencies, etc) can be returned back to the source while undamped waves are just wasted in the circuit. According to Tesla that is.

I've spent my whole life working in technical fields. Tech information means drawings, parts lists, theory of operation, etc. The only information I've seen that fits 'tech information' are from very few experimenters. I've seen pieces of a theory of operation but how those pieces go together and whether they are complete is unknown.

As far as using VHF triodes I think I can say I have. Did you know you can amplify a signal with a simple triode circuit with power applied only on the filament?

I suspect you would need no power if you could use a cold cathode type. Haven't found any of those yet.

I would love to see some tech info but we've already been told that much detail won't happen.

    Look no further for a cold cathode than your smoke detector.  The ionizing chamber in there doesnt quite emit electrons but it does emit some ionizing frequencies.  Ionize the gas and the electrons are freed up.  No heat involved at tall.  Tesla used diode tubes.  We have a gas we give it high frequency the gas ionizes.  In the presence of a magnetic field an ionized gas neuclides go one way while the electrons go the other.  The ozone hole is at the southpole while the hydrogen fountain is at the northpole.
