Good info.  Don't know how it is where others live but here, finding 'whole' apricots (for the b17) is damn hard to impossibe.  The few places that do sell them, do so at exorbitant prices.  Oddly enough, there is no shortage of places that sell apricots with the kernels removed, and really cheap at that - those kernels seem to demand premium price!  Also, b17 as a suppliment in tablet form doesn't seem to exist...

As for the FDA - there is no end to their hypocrisy.  If a private company operated that way, they would get the electric-chair (in a perfect world).  Just one of their more recent atrocities - not only do they supress cancer cures, they suppress & destroy information relating to food additives that cause cancer:

If you can't find B-17 you can always go the tried and true route and eat lots of anticarcinogens.  The cruciferous class of vegetables contain anticarcinogens like broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and kale.

The "powers that be" enforce nutritional ignorance.  If you doubt this ask your doctor how to cure something using food.  He'll say "duh, you can't do that, here have some drugs".
