Hi, this is my first post on here.  So I really like the guy's work on http://www.mintakafulcrum.net/.  Looks like he's got a great working motor there, especially his "Mk 7.1".  Does anyone know him or know any more about his design than he's put up on his site?  Has anyone else built one of his models?  Oddly enough, via the search engine, I cannot find any topics about him on the Overunity.com website...

I've thought about his design and have a few "mods" of my own that I would like to submit to you all for consideration...  here is a copy of what I've emailed him, but I have not yet heard a response back from him...

<<<Hello again, I read your whole website and have a few more questions?

In looking at MK 7.1, how come you don?t stack the motor rotor plate-stators-rotor plate? wouldn?t that save on stators, while doubling the easier to make rotors?  Or double it again and go rotor plate-stators-rotor plate-stators-rotor plate?

Also, would 9 stators, a 3 magnet rotor, and alternating 3 circuits work better than 8 stators and 2 circuits because their would be no ?backwards pull? on the rotor as it was turning to the next set of stators? >>>

Please see attached PDF.  What do you all think?

Hi,

You are banging on open doors...  :)

He is Ian and also a member here.  See some discussion on his motors in this thread here where he was invited but it was last year:  http://www.overunity.com/index.php/topic,1754.msg31932.html#msg31932

(you mention attached pdf, where is it?)

Thank you for the link to the discussion topic.  Like i said, I couldn't find it myself using the OU.com search engine.

The "attached PDF" that I mentioned is actually the .jpg picture I posted with the topic.

Thanks so much!
