Hi All,
have a look at this revolution in thin film solar cells,
called PowerPlastic(TM).

I canÂÃ,´t wait to get a few square meters of this...

If anybody knows, where already to buy a few samples,
please let me know.

Many thanks.

Btw, how do they do the electrical contacts with it ?
Is there also some kind of Tinoxid or other transparent
conductive layer included ?

Is it cheaper to produce than the Nanosolar cells ?

Regards, Stefan.

Under 1$ watt and they can go at around 0.10$ the watt after sometime, wow 100$ for a 1kw!! Only 1000$ to get 10kwatts!! Right now its like 4.5$ watt, if you want 10kwatts its around 45000$ and probably more!

I cannot wait to buy this cell to power my stuffs :)

:)      Hello how is the production of this solarfilm going?
Anyone who have seen or heard anything?  Its sounds too good to be true!   :)

It is true! In fact they are moving ahead extremely fast! Konarka has licensed the technology from the Doctor in the vids.

This facility will eventually be able to supply a gigawatt of product per year which is equal to the output of a nuclear power plant.

Check out the news links on their website and note what has happened just within the last few months. http://www.konarka.com/

I think nano-solar is about $1 per watt, and possibly a little cheaper.  I wanted to buy nano-solar cells, but it seems their production has been bought up to a year out, so it won't be available for a while.

This article was posted on ats, claiming near 100% efficiency, if that's even possible.  If that's true we won't need overunity machines, we could power our homes very cheaply with printed cells.  I've been looking at existing available cells, and they are ridiculous in price.. Seems like there's not a lot of competition and choices.  Perhaps that will change in a few years.
