and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Hello all,
First i want to apologies if the idea presented here is not new and was allready posted somewhere else in this forum but this forum is also huge, so you get my point  :)
So here we go: the idea is pretty simple, have 2 metal plates forming a plane condenser and these 2 inside a metal casing with some insulator between. now take 2 or more ( I'd say more ) and place them so that you get a electric field between every 2 capacitor cells. put some voltage on the plates and let's rock?!?
What do you think ?will this theoretically work?if not ,why?

Well a example of an insulator could be oxygen. So for lack of a better design it could be a spark gap in that container. The problem with electrolysis of water is that the resistance of water is so low in comparison with other elements like air... Water is also a di-electric and requires a significant amount of energy to break it's bonds. I would imagine it would be easy to get a voltage across your cell, but the hydrogen production probably wouldn't be considerable. The concept here is correct though, limit the voltage and induced a higher wattage into the material. IE, if you considered air to be as conductive then it would be easy to generate a 1 volt 200ma gradient that could be tapped into by anyone anywhere on the planet by simply holding up a wire in the air. The problem arises when one attempts to induce charge into water... and the problem really has nothing to do with water. It's the problem of the ampere... and there are other ways to harness voltage to perform work while restricting watts input.

I believe what you need to do is to find out what is more effective at separating the water into hydrogen and oxygen... if it is the volts or amps that is doing the bulk of the work then look at ways (temperatures / pressure) that increases production. Something to conider maybe a pressurized heated tank so that the steam from the water is under pressure then pulsing high voltage / amps through the steam to break the bonds. Maybe a starter cap or something that can collect a small amount of power over time and then release it as high amp or high volts across a designated area... just be careful when you dealling with high volt/ amps as sparks can result and high pressure hydrogen and oxygen with a tiny spark may cause you some small explosive problems... But its the balance you need to find... Good luck.

Hey there guys,
Thanks for your reply.
To the insulator,i mean some solid insulating material not some gas because i planed to use some greater voltage( i have a 10000V /15mA DC source). The basic idea was to use static (fields) to create some sort of a sink for the ions to go.Let's have a look at just one cell.Viewed from outside we'll have a polarized piece of metal(conductor), one side +, one side- .Now there are allready free ions in the water and they would be attracted to the corresponding sides at the same time. the question is if the ions would be also neutralized? so that we get H2 and 02 out?The amperage of the source is not relevant couse it's completely isolated from the water so there would be no net current, the source is used just to polarize the cell.
Any ideas if this will work ?Theoretically
