Electronic Health Aids

I didn't see a section on the use of electronic devices to aid in health.

There are 2 health aids I am really interested in.

1. An electronic device to help get a good night sleep.
2. An electronic device to help keep myself awake while driving. 

The following link on Rex Research is for a sleep aid device, but it uses older technology.

But I was looking at the possibility of using blue LED's pulsated at just the right frequency
to stimulate the brain into a deep state of sleep.
Another possibility is using certain frequencies of sound waves to achieve the same thing.
Or maybe a combination of the two technologies.

As for a device to keep me awake while driving maybe using some form of light will work here too.
Or a certain sound wave.
Ideally would be to have an Ultrasonic frequency that could be pulsed to keep one awake or help one sleep.

I see a lot of devices geared to help a person sleep, but I have yet to see a device to help one stay awake and alert.

I think i recall seeing something on ebay,,that you wear in your ear,,if you nod to much,,as in falling asleep it zaps ur ear with a tingle,,enough to snap you out of it..Think it comes from china,,but by now they prob sell them in usa. or search google with something like I mentioned,,you may run across it, not sure of the exact name...
