Are you building something for open source ?

Hydro-Cell

if you mean by open source i will be telling everyone what i will be doing and how to do it. it can be sorted if it works. the idea is to find a supplier so i can build/manufacture near ou heaters. the one i have for trsting is not ou but very close, however more ultrasonic power may make it ou, i currently have my heater running at about 10p per hour, and its able to warm a room

My son inlaw is currently talking to his suppliers about just that [piezo transducers]
I will share whatever he comes up with[They do underwater surveying to bed rock and beyond ]

Hello hydro_cell,

is your idea to cause friction-heat by supersonic waves ?
I think the type of transducer you are looking for will depend on what kind of material you will have the transducer act  on. If it is solid matter a ceramic disc will not work.
If you want it to be very powerful I would look for magneto-striction-based transducers. They are robust and last longer.
But actually I have no idea where to get one.
Ceramic discs need cooling and are mainly used for mixing liquids and cleaning with water.
