Hi Outlawst

Why you don't show the coil with the wire?

What size of wire ?

How many turns?

Well, look at the last pic!
I can certainly understand and even appreciate that he didn't just tore the whole wound VIC apart to see inside!

Well as the layout is exactly as he decribed it in his Technical Briefs I would expect, that the wire sizes and lengths are also exactly as he described it in it.

Really interesting are the different connections on the last Pic. It would really be interesting to have detailed photo shot from the front and rear to see where the different connections are coming from.
And what would really be interesting if somebody could validate how exactly the coils are interconnected and expecially oriented. E.g.if the bifilars do have the same polarity or not. This could easily be done by attaching a small signal generator to one coil and look at the voltage of the other coils on a scope.
Is this a Sub-D Connector at the left side of the VIC?

dankie

Lol do you seriously think I know the number of turns lol ??

Unfortunately this is the only pic we will ever see ... Everything has already been sold to Orion .

The wire was taken off by the owner so it couldnt work .

The wire size is probably the size mentionned in the tech brief . The chokes are probably made of  .004 430F or F/R wire ...

This VIC is not mine , I am not the owner of Stan's stuff , I am just posting this , I shouldnt even be posting this untill the "official release" of this information .

Dont know number of turns

Wire size is in the tech brief

You can purchase some S/S wire here , for the magnet wire I would call a company like Superior Essex , the Bobbin material is delrin , the core is laminated silicon steel EI core
