I do not believe the picture of God which churches, (like i.e. Roman-Catholic) show. Probably, this is the picture that also other religions reveal. Why I do not believe this? Because God, revealed this way, is well... just incoherent.
Let's see the superior subject in this religion (and probably in other religions too): the Love. According to the church(es), God's love is superior. Only unconditional love can be superior and religions admit this. But, according to church(es), only strict conditions give a reward: God rewards us for our obedience!!! It's not LOVE. It's bussiness contract: I'll give you something, when you pay me for this. Jesus died for us, but he requires some conditions to get the reward he offers. Is this SUPERIOR LOVE?? I can show examples of people, who give this kind of love; this way, are they superior over God?
There are a lot more examples of incoherency in the Bible. But this forum is not a place to discuss such subject.
