Now, lets say we have a tapper setup.

We connect a cap across the primary of a transformer and we have a circuit that pulses the primary at the LC resonant freq. We can measure the sec and see the sine wave output.

But if we load the secondary, and look at the output, we may only see the pulse, and maybe a small ring down, depending on the level of the load, because the secondary loaded kills off the resonance of the primary.

So if we have a transformer, that the secondary is wound around the same core as the primary and around a second core, then when we load the secondary, it wont kill the primary resonance.

So now we can, with little kicks, get the primary really shakin.

I have a proposal: to work like a  team involved in a project. That because all, we have a lot of ideea, different materials(we are around the world...). Step by step we must to validate(almost all or majority of us) every stage. Personally I'm determinated to make a device OU reproductible by every person who have some skills on electronics...I claim that beacause, all of us, see here and another forum that good intention and good skills are lost; work conditions are very different and MEASUREMENT are some trap. Maybe  some are good in theory and don't have equipment, some in theory and practice, etc... Is simple to post some scheme(real and good intentions!) and after a lot of people work to reproduct...without result, inoperative. After, people become nervous, debate is ... religious without link to OU!!! So time go, and go and i don't know if OU come only from word... So my opinion is to concentrate to define a block diagram. Next define and practical realise and measure every block. We move to next block after most of us obtain same results! May take a time, but result is guaranteed!!!
Now I want to know your opinion about this organized manner of work.

Mags, I like your idea about wrapping the secondary around the primary, but also around a second coil.  But first, let me backtrack a bit:

But I believe that there must be a way to have a self increasing oscillation. Either it can be started, kicked, then once it has self increased, then discharge to load or storage.

Do you think that if we're dealing with a coil of iron wire (perhaps a shorted coil), that its magnetic current might be helped along (sped up) by bringing it into contact with a magnet? Maybe this would get our "kicks" going.

I used germanium diodes with mine, but I think my caps were too large. Perhaps we need verrry low voltage caps in order to charge up and kick. Back to the bench when I get time.

Guys, I like your enthusiasm for a focussed collaboration. I just don't have the time, with multiple projects on the go in other areas of life. I'm glad to contribute the little I can to this thread.
