The commenters under this YouTube video notice that a DC motor (not universal) cannot be powered by AC and rotate in one direction without a diode.  Any radio waves picked up by this coil would induce only AC in it.

The coils shown present a short circuit to DC thus it is easy to duplicate the effects show on this video by hiding  watch button-cell batteries in the motor and the multimeter (in series).
If this is done, then shorting the motor or the multimeter by these coils will produce motor rotation and the same readings on the multimeter.

However, because these batteries must be small, they will not last very long under load.
The energy density of this system should not exceed the density encountered today by batteries.   This could be measured by connecting a light bulb and calibrate its brightness with power by well know DC current and then let it run for hours to multiply this power by time and divide by mass or volume of the whole device, in order to calculate the maximum energy density. 

If the calculated energy density is higher than the density of contemporary batteries then the device could be proven to be extraordinary without dissection.
