I have to find it, but from what I remember, it was one of Teslas lectures or debates.....

He said that the higher the voltage the better the bifi works. Something like that.

So maybe this is where the Igniter circuit comes in....

So lets say that there is a little gain from using a bifi primary. Well if we up the voltage using the Igniter, which converts efficiently, from 12v, up to say 100v. Then we have higher voltage to input to the bifi primary, giving us more efficiency, in order to send more back to the battery than was used.

I have a small ferrite core and bobbin I will try this on.

The pat is provided below.

Same circuit only add a diode for unidirectional flow from the batt and use a bifi in place of the thick primary in the pat pic below.

Will think more on it before I build it.

If we take the bifilar coil separate the windings and apply dc to each coil separate you will find the coils have an opposite polarity they oppose each other.
So if ac is applied to the bifilar coil we have a coil that produces opposite spinning fields, I  have found that opposite spinning fields causes charge separation whereas coils with the same polarity do not.

Not sure what you mean. What would be the advantage of this.

Im under the 'impression' that it is possible that a series bifi might have different effects than using a single winding primary, in relation to the secondary.

Once I have it made it can be configured other ways, if you have suggestions. I have to figure out what wire and no. of turns that will fit for a bifi primary and a single secondary winding. Im thinking of using very thin wire for the bifi primary and winding as many as 4 to 6 wires at the same time. If it is 4, then 2 and 2 will be in parallel connection and bifi series as 2 and 2. If 6 will fit, then 3 and 3. This will increase the capacitance vs having just 2 larger wires side by side.
