It doesn't really matter if caps in series are less mf than the same caps in parallel. That's not the point.
As much as possible you want the potential in these caps, in certain circumstances.

Also consider:
Coils have magnetic field. Can induce other coils. Will oscillate when pulsed.
Caps store potential.
Bifilar = coil
Bifilar = cap
Bifilar with one end connected can store potential.
Many uses.

To paraphrase Tito: Who says you must only use one cap?

Listen carefully, with an open mind, to stupify12, totoalas and Tito. Try not to filter what they say through what you have been taught to think.

Hey guys listen to this.

I have a home made capacitor that I use in a circuit. It's a high voltage low mf cap. In my circuit it is used for storing potential from a fast pulse, just like any other cap. Here's a neat thing about this particular cap. While it is being pulsed, it will transmit electrical energy to several separate circuits without any extra loss from the circuit it is wired to.

Isn't that interesting?

We can add up all and build a simple echematic like Gyula did which worked for me.....
can be totally based from Tito or anything that has been partly tested and need only some fine tuning as

how you find that it transmit energy to other circuit? what is the actual setup/scenario.?
