Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

IGBT's are about the only transistor that will pass this much power and do it solid state.

So if the transformer charges the caps at a high frequency and high voltage but the igbt only fires at 50 or 60 hz would this be what Tesla was referring to in his patent.

Charging the capacitor to thousands of horse power and taking the energy out at a lower frequency.

Dear Dave45.

I see this circuit the other way round !! An Ac generator charging the capacitor through the chokes. The rapidly moving interrupter discharging the cap through the primary providing a high frequency output to what I see clearly as some of Tesla's "Gas discharge lamps"

Just my "Two penneth"

Cheers Grum.

Hmm.  Maybe some people think my question earlier about where to put the switching was silly.
In Daves post above, look at (K)  to the left and right of the coil. 2 separate wires as primary. Is it considered bifi? But the circuit shows the cap across the bottom ends of the 2 (K)'s and the switching at the other ends of the (K)'s. Ill check the pat to see what exactly the (K)'s are described as

Teets didnt answer that question for what ever reasons he has.

So the pic below, the first circuit is a way we have seen many times, many ways, in power supplies with normal coils. But the second circuit affords us another place to put the switching.  Dont know if there is an advantage to this yet. But there it is in the pic Dave posted. Perhaps having the 2 windings, each already precharged oppositely, affects the behavior when switched on.

Why is my cursor invisible?  Is anyone else having this issue while writing posts?
