Auto parts stores have oil pressure gauge copper tubing. Is even rolled in about 3 to 4in in the package.  Cheap way to give it a go.

Its an odd idea.  Putting the coiled tube in line(series loop) with a battery and say a motor. If there is more power getting to the motor than the battery provides, does the coil send out more current than goes into it?  Is it the hollow area of the tube where flux becomes very dense causing some strange effect?

Im not doubting the idea. I just try to conjure up hows and whys from details before I build an idea presented to me.

I dont know if the auto parts tubing is the way to go yet. The ID is small. But, it is a tube of copper and easily available. Im stopping by Advanced Auto Parts today to pick up a package to try. My electric bike is 48v(4 12v 10ah batts in series), and a perfect ready to go test platform.

A while back, I was using my Watts Up meter on a pulse motor project, not much amperage, and possibly some BEMF caused it to not work any longer.  Funny thing, Just tried it recently and it is back from the dead.     So I have a great lil meter to test this out on my bike. The bike is 500w and has a 15A fuse. The Watts Up meter handles 100A peak 50 cont. up to 60v.

For insulating the tube coil, possibly shrink tubing or Scotch 33 or 88 black tape for a first run.

- this would suggest to me that this simple coil config is functioning like a series-wound bifi or caduceus coil.
It's interesting that he's having good results with these coils for plant growth. Are they picking up extra longitudinal/scalar impulses or RE and transducing it into voltage without amperage to increase plant cell capacitance and therefore vitality?

Isn't this what Teets did with the "tail" on the end of a 470uF cap?
