Do you use alum plate  as TK? or only coils.
Are you pulsing more than 100v? To be efficient have to pulse it with how many volts.... I don't like HV...
Simple questions from a Newbie....

it actually depends on the design.
but coil, caps and some controls are our master's choice of toys.
i used aluminum foil in my antenna and putting some perfect circles for much more efficient and still in slanted position like what our master says, right?.


low volts pulsing is much better as much as possible. but we can do it in high as long as ways are made perfect to avoid spilling of power.     let say for example, i made a strong kick in your ass. what will you feel?, and that is actually the reason why contacts are being destroyed.   

well, speed is power. The faster the better with peanut butter.
that is a question of a brilliant thinker actually.

Been reading my book on regulated power supplies. There is a section on using mosfets inplace of diodes. One efficient property is lower voltage drop. Then you also have fast switching speed.

Hmm, can a mosfet be used as a detector for a crystal radio set?

actually i don't know if i'm being ask. your research are too deep now. i salute you friend, i will try that. thank you.


but in my sense is that, sensitivity is much priority for detection to consider first, well, faster switching is good, who knows, maybe it depends, I CANNOT DANCE.

consider this: let say for example, while a single electron is travelling in a long wire, can it not do some work while moving?, before it goes to its point of use or final destination.
