The strength of a hurricane comes from the amount of sunlight hitting the water and the water temperature underneath and in the path of the hurricane.

No one in their right mind would propose this, but seeding cloud in fron of a hurricane might just destroy the hurricane.

Either that or pre-depleting the hurricane by forcing rain to fall and cool the waters in front of it.  I was thinking of some large plane that could fly around and liquify air, then dump it on the path in front of it.

Hurricanes are massive though - what's the point.  Shooting lasers from space would be more productive.

Not true. The strength of a hurricane comes from the structure of the hurricane.

Structure is a result of the way moisture rises in the presence of gravity ..  the hurricane is strong as a result of the synergy - but the fact of the matter is, a hurricane picks up strength as a result of water temperatures in the path of the hurricane.  I understand what you mean though.
