you may be interested to know that global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct effect of the shrinking numbers of pirates since the 1800s. for your interest, i have included a graph of the approximate number of pirates versus the average global temperature over the last 200 years. as you can see, there is a statistically significant inverse relationship between pirates and global temperature.

please refrain from your demands of suicide to pirate, underneath that salty ol' sea dog exterior there lies a good man... as shown in graph below there are, including our own pirate, only 17 bonafides left in the world. surely you realize that in encouraging him to commit suicide you risk bringing about more global warming and earthquakes? i think it is obvious that you should instead send your women to him so he can breed with them and thereby reverse this diabolical process...

i can build a mechanical pirate,
