How do you build a resonating crystal circuit?

Hi there,

I need information on how to build a resonating crystal circuit. I want to put a specific frequency into a coil using a crystal instead of a function generator (I am not try to build a crystal receiver). The difference here, also, is that instead of sending a signal into an antenna (a single wire), I want to feed the signal into a coil, which obviously needs to be connected at both ends so that it i will be like a normal electromagnetic coil, except with a specific signal input . I am trying to make this specific experiment as simple as possible so that replication of the test setup is possible without a function generator.
Apologies for the simplistic explanation, I have little knowledge of electrical engineering but am trying to learn as quickly as possible.
Could anyone give or direct me towards straightforward information on a simple crystal circuit?

Hmm, I don't know exactly what you want with the crystal, but is it magnetic resonance you had in your mind? ;)
I know for certain that you could do some cool things with this circuit if you fed it with a signal.

Thanks for the link Groundloop. Ok, in the spirit of open source and keeping no secrets, here's what I want to do: I plan to connect 2 seperate crystal circuits to the 2 coils of a Rodin Coil. With the Rodin coil, the two seperate coils are supposed to be harmonized using sine waves. If you do some tests on the Rodin coil you will see that the 2 coils do indeed interact to produce different effects. I want to put in a different frequency in each coil to set up a harmonic resonance, there's some interesting information to do with Leedskalnin that comes in to play here, I'll let you know when I've built the circuits and done some tests.
In the mean time though, I need to find a chart or table that tells me what frequency (in Hertz) certain notes of a musical scale are, does anyone know where I could find one? This will allow me to get the correct crystals.
Also, I'm not quite sure what the waveform output of the circuits shown in the link are, I'm looking for sine wave ouput, is there perhaps a very simple circuit out that I could build to get a crystal oscillating and connected to both ends of each coil? When I say both ends I mean that I am not connecting the circuit like an antenna (to one wire), I will be "shorting" it like a regular coil, connecting power to both ends.

Magnetic resonance? Possibly... Could you explain further? Do you know of a circuit that I could build?
