Hoo-boy. Several minutes. Look at that thing, sitting on his lap. Several minutes it spins.

Has anybody ever asked him how long it spins if you remove the outer (stator) magnets and all that contraptionation?

I'll bet a shiny Canadian loonie that it will spin even longer if you do that.
But for some reason, nobody ever takes my bets.
