Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

If you want to understand Terence McKenna (dead of a brain tumor unfortunately) you must understand this:

Should I take some drugs to understand this ?

@cheapower2012 If its of any relavence none of the three induction heaters operate(heat) when using a modified sine wave inverter. They light up and look as if they are working but no heat not even warm, plug back to mains and instant heat.

About your induction heater experiment, when you take power from the pancake coil the iron does not heat up. Do you understand what is happening ?
I think I do. When you don't take power from the coil the iron 'sees' the original field and heats up. When you take power, the coil creates a field that is opposite to creating field. The iron now 'sees' the sum of those two fields which is close to zero, hence it does not heat up. If it gets warm then it means cancellation is not perfect.

How to change this so that iron still heats while you take power ? My bet is that caduceous wound pancake would do the trick nicely. They would create two fields of opposite direction, hence their sum would be zero and would leave the creating field to heat up the iron. It gets better. Those two pancakes would feed each other so you should get more power out. Outputs of those pancake coils need to be connected together and power taken from them. If connection is wrong way then you get zero power out. Think those pancakes as batteries connected in parallel, then you will understand it better. It is necessary to connect '-' ends together and '+' ends together.

How do I know this would work ? I have described a similar solution in http://www.overunity.com/12487/simple-to-build-isolation-transformer-that-consumes-less-power-than-it-gives-out but it is using trafos and low power at the moment. Induction heater has high frequency and power behind it, this would be one way to test the trafo experiment using high power.

I could be wrong here, the trafo setup uses electric current to create the effect while heater creates magnetic field. Anyway if it is not a big trouble maybe you could play with the idea.

I have a question, if you don't use induction heater to heat anything, does it still consume power ? I mean how does water boiler behave when it heats tank full of water or just the empty tank ?

@jack noskills, Hi yes it does appear to take away all power to coil instead of steel plate, and yes i will try your idea with coils also going to unpick the pancake coil from spare induction hob and wind on to plastic tube kapanadze style. regards no load the hob does not kick in unless impedance is exact. even just adding a simple coil or cap and nothing, as soon as impedance is right then the oscillator kicks in and lights bulbs and 3kw heater. The settings are strange when on 400 watts the heater still takes 1kw, this was pointed out by Cap zero I think. Still playing.

You got ferrite core ? One option would be to use the pancake coil as high frequency source and connect it to ferrite as explained in the thread. Ferrite would then produce power while source is not used. This would work if output of the pancake is sine wave, full or half wave. With this setup you dont have to worry about impedance mathing to resonance as it is always in resonance with source. I recall Tariel saying this somewhere, he accidentially found a way to auto resonance. Maybe this is his solution ? Maybe not as there are no spark gaps involved.

sparks

A spark gap is a poor mans particle accelerator.  Electrons upon being accelerated or deaccelerated will MANUFACTURE photons.   When electrons are accelerated in a piece of copper wire the photons are entirely wasted and result in heating the wire.   When they are accelerated in a coronal discharge in the open atomosphere they create ultraviolet light.  The ultraviolet light is then absorbed by more air molecules which then expel more electrons.   This is known as an electron cascade effect.  All of a sudden you have a bunch of ionized gas that required very little energy to ionize.  If water vapor is present the electron cascade event can include removal of the covalently bonded electron from the 1s orbital of the hydrogen atom.  More important is that the electrons ionized will experience acceleration towards the anode.  Leaving an electron deprived atmosphere where the ionized monatomic hydrogen is drawn towards the cathode and the hydroxide ions are drawn towards the anode.  Hydrogen fuel is then available at very little energy expenditure.  The trick is to create a huge spark gap that does not allow the plasma to bridge the emitter.  At 30,000 volts your spark gap can now be of considerable dimension.  Your cathode becomes ground and your anode goes into production of ionized gasses without any discharge to Earth.  If it is dark in you lab you can always insert some aluminum between the anode and the cathode and attach one end of the lightbulb to ground  and the other to the piece of aluminum which is being charged by the anode.
