It appears that the motor generator combo seems to be a rotoverter configured with a flywheel and pulleys. Simple enough to duplicate, just need to sort out the pulley ratio's

It would be good to see what's been achieved so far. The Russians there had 3 induction coils working in clear rotation switching to simulate three phase input there. Not 3 frequencies but simple jumping magnetic field from one coil to another right like in Tesla patents of generators..
