Even I do not question the validity of one-wire transmission as I've experimented with this and know it works. However, as to whether its practical as a grid replacement system will depend on transmission efficiency and any safety / health issues. My experiments show that it is an inefficient means of power transmission. Time will tell.

If there is no MAINS/Grid available like camping or cabin in the middle of the woods or a prolonged power outage, then an inefficient one wire system is good.

@Hoppy, they do say there is no voltage drop in the wires whatsoever in the vid? Tesla coils I know can use high amounts of input power but most use very little as most of the vids/replications at the moment show with people touching outputs even Kapanadze does not seem to bother with shocks.When you see the green box vid his assistant gets his fingers in the cooling fan and is not touching a wire as some people suggest.

@verpies, interesting what you said about clearance around wires, I wondered this so have watched again and it looks like fairly normal size insulation possibly similar to HT leads on a car.
