I say it is according to "EE teachings" because some told us about possible special effects due to the earth viewed as a "big capacitor" or to "displacement currents" but when we remove the earth connection, we observe exactly the same thing.

I agree with baroutologos, your methodology sheds some new light onto the Kapagen.
This very fact that removing the earth connection does not change anything is a sign that the device as it is now does not work on the Kapanadze principle or is amazingly untuned, because Kapanadze demonstrated different efficiencies of his device with different ground connections.

Kapanadze probably also doesn´t use a MOT in the first place.

I don't know yet if I have OU or no OU. I have no equipement to measure the power because the current is not pure sinus. We must integrate the intantaneous product U(t)*I(t) over time. From an oscillograph it is possible but tedious, and nevertheless I would do it if I "felt" that the output was more than the input. But I don't. I burnt out a 12v 55w light bulbs in series with the primary winding, so it is obvious that the device draws a large current (> 5A, i.e >1150 W).

I would suggest, if i may so, not to get mad about exact efficiency measuring by now.
By the way, the more or less sine wave with HF component (voltage of course, current cannot respond much to that i am almost sure) is very encouraging for measurments. Perhaps a rugged clamp metter can show some approx. values.

The fact that you burnt a 55watt 12 volt lamp (nice try), (4 amps) in series with primary means that you stressed it over double amps. At least at start-up. Of course fine tuning such a device can happen by
*having a decent SG
*applying a coil per Naudin specs and see what happens (anyone noticed that Naudin do not even mentions the counter-wound back-coil? Perhaps he thinks it unessecary)
*playing with grounds etc

This is a photo of Henry Moray Early Model RER. No relation to Kapagen but maybe Kapanadze's starting point as its main feature was a long raised antenna and a germanium crystal detector.

The counter wound coil is just a continuation of the original coil on a "too short" of a piece of pipe.
It was reported in an earlier post on this thread.
