Core, two thoughts of your tube observation -

The wire going into a tube would make an arc which could make small amounts of magnegas on demand but could also be nothing but how he connected the two together and tube used for a coil.

Why did he have the device in a plastic tank? Why was all that extra space inside the Gray motor sealed up with silicone? Were both filled with magnegas?

Personally, I'm not convinced about the tube and gas theory, more regarding the proposed theory than the practical feasability. I don't abide with the mass-to-energy conversion, as Tesla said himself, there is no Energy in matter other than the one received from the environment (see also correspondance between Einstein and him).

Anyhow, a few years ago I received an email from a guy named "Chris" who went on with a story and seemed pretty delusional to me (check out the other parts of the site linked below), though I have seen some pretty incredible stuff myself so you never really know as the truth lies usually somewhere in between. @Quarktoo .Re your reply number 5213 . The experiment you describe with the wound toroid an d the ampmeter . The toroid is in effect acting as Ed Leeskalnins PERPETUAL MAGNET HOLDER . Beware however using amp meter in a magnetic field , as it may be responding not to current but magnetism . Try longer leads on the ampmeter , or replacing it with a bulb or LED . I think then you will find that the current flow is very brief . Let us know what you find .

Your reply is what people would naturally assume.

That was not my experience from years ago and I have know of two others that also did the experiment. This has nothing to do with permanence of a magnet or Leedscalnin.

That being said, I think that if people understand this, then they understand how Leedscalnin's motor works. Research Stephan Marinov. His experiment is peer reviewed and this is just a baby step to teaching people how to conserve a vacuum field.
