I took my time and viewed this video carefully keeping notes etc. Its a "bit" confusing and complicated to the average tinkerer in here, but lets keep in mind that its version one and the guys worked hard to bring this to our attention.

Part1

More or less, the video goes in sync with what already has been described. I saw vid's first part of the guys being unable to get any tunning with any manual way. This is can be understood also by the very fact that at 10:30 etc when white-noising the U shape turn (copper or alluminium shield) no peaks are detected. (although the sweep function used should be fruitful)

To deal with this problem,  u-shape winding was replaced by a thicker broader alluminium one.
After that change the ferrite "ringing frequency" is found (around 1.1 Mhz) and the guys proceed playing around with harmonics on other windings, watching spectacular voltage rises on all windings around the core.
As i see it, no ferrite singing frequency, no fun , but thats not all. As its shown wire composition play a major role for a reason i cannot understand. (go figure)

Initial question remains. How those FG manage from burning out? They start with a signal of 10v at their leads, and voltage can climb as much as 1Kv.
