Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I had just read recently an article by Tesla explaining why the reversal of AC currents prevents the propagation of aether. I can't find it now, but, I'll keep looking till I do. From what I can remember, Tesla first made AC then later abandon it for the "Pulsed" DC. Don't confuse flat DC(no reactance) with pulsed DC.

OK, I found it. It came from...

Secrets of Cold War Technology

By Gerry Vassilatos

"The high voltage of the dynamo exerted such an intense unidirectional pressure on the densified charges that alternations were impossible. The only possible backrushes were oscillations. In this case, charges surged and stopped in a long series until the supercharge was wasted away. All parameters which forced such oscillations actually limited the supercharge from manifesting its total energetic supply, a condition Tesla strove to eliminate. Indeed he spent an excessive time developing various means to block every "backrush" and other complex current echo which might forced the supercharge to prematurely waste its dense energy. Here was an effect demanding a single unidirectional super pulse. With both the oscillations and alternations eliminated, new and strange effects began making their appearance. These powerful and penetrating phenomena were never observed when working with high frequency alternations..."

"Tesla found that it was imperative that the charging process occurred in a single impulse. No reversal of current was permissible, else the effect would not manifest."

Also in the book, he explains that Sir Oliver Lodge had constructed a similar device that is what we are most familiar with today. It is not the big arcs we want, but the eather.

Thanks jesus and heairbear,

I just found the translation I was looking for
It is the part that says the lights are DC quite specifically, and from a georgian friend of xeno's, So, I guess he speaks the language. (I got to wonder after all.):

QuoteAnd here a transcript of the first part of that movie (youtube version)
Things like give me tis, hold that etc. have been left out.
A georgian friend has made this, if he has time he makes more parts too:

Quote

    - Let's start, Nino
    - So, switch the camera on
- Dig here
- Let's take it out and put it again
- Prepare the water
We burned the radiator for better contact with ground
- Strew it with ground and pour salt water on it
- Again ground and again water
- bla-bla-bla (preparing)

*showith things on table*
- This is for accumulators, this is charger, bridge for diods

Bring lamps, we must check the potential difference between earth and water supply
- We shall prolong the cable to connect it to.. (water supply?)

- Every lamp is 1 kWatt
- 4 Volt or milliVolt
- Volt
- Alternative or direct current?
- Direct
- 6 Volt is shit
- We take "vagrant" current and from this current the device is running. No "vargant" fields, we take energy from the space around us according to Tesla's principle
- We tried all the ways to get energy from "void", but we kept silent cause we weren't sure that we could get this power. When we picked up the law of passage from 1 kWatt to 50-200 kWatt... *then the guy says that he can get any power from power source, and it works on the energy that it is producing itself, smth like perpetuum mobile.
- But if the spark won't get here (translator didn't understand if it is jeering or condition or..)

- This is converter (blue box). It converts 12 Volt to... *the end of 1 part*

So, if the lights were DC lights (and the thickness of the wire also supports this possibility) what is being used as AC?

@jesus, I do hope it really is an AC device. I was discouraged by this translation.

@heairbear, I have noticed that Tesla frequently refers to DC as "steady" because that is the important distinction. I was getting the feeling that he didn't make the distinction between alternating and pulsed dc. In fact he seems to have preferred pulsed dc all along. He says it is better to have a quick rate of change (spike) than a slower rate of change.

I think this is what gerry Vassilatos is talking about here too. Tesla wanted the onrushes but he wanted to make sure they came suddenly, at a "faster rate of change".
The breakdown of air was a big problem- hence the bubble-free oil.
He was trying to get the spike verrry sharp.
(I do hope the transistor shut off and on is sharp enough!)

thank you,

A transistor will never compare to a spark gap or a commutator.

:D OH dear!
Do you like winding all your coils under oil?
I guess, I hope what a transistor can do is fast and sharp enough to do the job!
