Inside is a aluminum LOOP(tube that is not closed together) , is it connected to anything electrically ?

is it HF SMPS invertor or its classic invertor that has DC and after DC has output mosfet switches that makes 50hz !!!
Or does this invertor give 50hz 220V or some HIGHER frequency???
Can instead invertor classic 1:1 50hz transformer be used ?
what is number of turns relation in that coil

I'm curious too, have you done any measurements yet of the input and the output energy or you're just demoing the effect of various cores by observing the intensity of lamp light?
