Yes, technicaly a 9volt battery cannot operate that kacher at those power levels. If that would be the sole power source, no doubt the system would be OU. BUT, despite persistent requests by many russians (and me) the "inventor" would not reply to specifics.
Few have said to me that a hidden wire is underneath the table and i find it quite reasonable to believe, since all Kachers behave similarly.

He he still main question remains, why bulb glows ... (that question I repeated many times) still its mystery...
When you tested Kacher , have you used two separate coil conencted in sereis like russian video or just one single coil ? Russian video behaves more like magnifier...  resonance coil in series not affected with primary magnet field..

Do you have scope ? if you do you could easily measure efficiency of kacher oscilator.. you will see its probably not more than 20%
abd third thing , if one would make BIG TC that resonantes lets say at 100-200khz... than kacher effect will be less evident : lower requency energy goes to plate capacitor in HV field... I doubt thats case here maybe ...

I now see, I thought this coil has radial coi... but no its just single turn coil : notihng special there .. nail magnet field and coil (copper shield) magnet field are at the same angle.. at more or less classic transformer

BUT Kapanadze have radial coil outside and axial copper rod (or maybe copper tube) inside... this can ONLY pick up electrostatic effect cause magnet fields are at 90 degree angle .... But if kapagen coils  have crossed  magnet field field than at point where crossed coils meet( B drawing on schematics) there will be magnet field at 90 degree to axis of tube going outside...

This is not a mystery! The direction of the current in the "primary" (the cut piece of copper) creates a B  which circulates in the toroidal cores(right hand rule). the secondary, or piece of rod in the center, shares this same B field dipole, and so has a polarization induced on it (right hand rule again) and lights the bulb.

Here there is a secondary A field along the length of the coil, exactly as shown in these videos, this creates electrical poles of opposite polarity at each end of the coil I pass a wire through the center with correctly placed capacitive masses and wala, you have a capacitive pump. This is a little more advanced form, yet shows similar operating principle.

I have seen through my experiments that the larger the copper wire in the center the more output is generated. So use a larger copper wire for the ground, at least through the coils.

I was reading the new thread in this forum and it seems to coincide with what I was thinking. What is the resonance of the primary? The output coil should be an order of magnitude smaller (50 ~ 100 times). I think this is the gotcha with this and the Don smith version too.

As I said prior the MOT's are not making the required KV's, raise the input to the coils to 10 ~20kv with the spark gap (ring the bell), making a old SG transmitter. Might need to place a tripler in line to get the MOT's to work effectively.

Look for I would say 4~5Mhz for the primary tank, the secondary needs to be less (by an order of magnitude) to avoid quenching the primary and provide a usable output.

Tune the coils, get the output coil close to a harmonic but I say about 100 times less.
