I think he has a Tesla coil wrapped up with the white plastic pipe/case...
Probably the same (or a slightly rebuilt) as he showed in his very first video with the Tesla coil + lamp test.

I'm wondering if what DimaWari stated is true regarding the carbon to boron transmute. Could there be carbon fiber under that coil? The aluminum tabs could just be how he is making contact with it.
