I was doing inverter on  the Flyback Transformer and faced with an interesting effect.
This is not the avalanche breakdown. Transistor was cold. The base is completely disabled.

what is the black wire coiled on the right  hand side that is coming from behind, down to the rear of the  table?
Right  hand side , bottom of the monitor?

Please post schematic of  parts and connection.

What is pick to pick voltage of oscillation?
What is multi meter -  type ( model number)?
What is range of DC V switch  to?
What is internal resistance  of multi meter?
What is the model number of transistor?

The sources are i China and 20-30 days of waiting.
Ebay does not offer anything fast unless you pay $50 per diode.

diodes are a problem... we need to figure something cheap out for that purpose...
