Far from a conspiracy, but sounds like a Hollywood movie.


Some quick history, back in 2000/2001 another case was brought up against some banks for 'fixing' gold trading.

Inc., Chase Manhattan Corp., Citigroup Inc., Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Deutsche Bank AG, and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers.   On August 16 Judge Reginald Lindsay of U.S. District Court in Boston has scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2001, a hearing on the defendants' motion to dismiss the lawsuit brought by a consultant for the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee, Reginald H. Howe, against the Bank for International Settlements, the U.S. Federal Reserve and Treasury Department, and several bullion banks.   Critical investigation records ceased to exist and most of the investigators died  on September 11, 2001.  On October 9, 2001 the motion to dismiss was heard.  The case was dismissed.

That was a real case in the courts that dealt with the fixing of gold prices by banks for there benefit.

Hmm, is there different models of the KT805AM?
From what i have found the hfe is far from 1000 which would indeed make it a Darlington.

its not necessary the source voltage to "oscillate" in order kacher to work. Kachers can work from any voltage source as long as it provides without much impedance the neccesary current. Eg. with a transformer and smoothing caps or as in my last case, batteries ---> chokes ---> 1uf + 33nf caps. Because chokes restrict the "access" of the HV current to batteries so as to be used as capacitative reservoirs or ground, a grounding to the emmiter is provided in that case.

I am not talking about efficiencies btw. Kacher efficiency is not my forte it seems. So far, with the KT805AM tranistors get inferior resuslts that the MJE15030.

I tried some filtering yesterday by putting chokes in the  + and - leads near the batteries with
and without some decoupling capacitors (0.1uF), but this made my kachercoil to stop working :-( ??!!

Does it also stop working when you put the 0.1μF capacitor across the battery (without chokes) ?
Also what is the DC resistance of the choke you tried?

NOTE: Putting a choke in series with a battery converts it from a constant voltage source to constant current source (albeit for a brief time only: determined by the Tau constant of the LR circuit)
