I wanted to touch back on the subject of figure 8 in the tfc books article. Read the text around that subject and you start to understand the focusing effects or intensifying effects he used to cause a flow in the fields. Since frequencies of 5k to 60k cycles don't really effect us it seems obvious that he didn't think it could harm us. The box he used was in between him and his nephew as the report goes about the pierce arrow experiment. So no direct exchanges were perceived by either him nor his nephew. I figure between the larger antenna and the smaller ones there would have been 5-6 feet of space. The larger antenna was reported to be 5-6 feet tall and the steel rods were very small 5-6 inches at most each. The weight should be balanced between the two antennas. This meant there was a equal mass resonance that he used but a imbalance in the surface area. This is what caused the focusing effect and subsequent intensifying of the electric field between the two antennas. Just like in the figure 8 section.
