Yes, extra varnish would make it a little safer to handle. ...but would it decrease the chances of the enamel breakdown between the wires of the braid?

I think so if an acrylic conformal spray was used, or just an ordinary 'thin' polyurethane based lacquer sprayed on.

Are you really sure about the white wire? Now you pointed it out I have looked at the video several times, it is there all along, but appears to me to be a little bit of stripped insulation. There are times when it comes into tight focus and appears to be hollow and I think you can see the back end of it sometimes.

As you appreciate, we can never be sure about anything seen on a video, which is why I said its a possible wire. We could discount a number of possible signs of faking and still be left with a real unseen 'X' wire.

This guy sounds a little bit too uninterested and boring (IMHO) given the fact that he (allegedly) just has discovered free energy and the Kapanadze secret.

There may be more tricks than just the braid trick. I am fairly convinced that in some of TK's demonstrations, like the aquarium, he is using an inductive wireless power transmission and reception system, with the transmitter and its output loop concealed in the furniture or walls or underground.

Note the part of the schematic that I have put a red square around. This is the basic circuit for a flyback driver, an induction furnace.... or a wireless inductive power transfer system.
