Curent gose from ground. You need make hight preshure in top of Tesla coil maybe, and then in low end Tesla coil be small preshure, smaller, than normal abient presure, then energy addtitional gose from grounding cable, there preshure higher, than in buttom end of Tesla coil.
Stev Mark also, I think, made smaller preshure in some places than background preshure and then energy gose from background, there highter preshure to fill lower preshure. He only fast manipulating frenquencyes. In Kapanadze one divice 100 kilowats it use three phases and then make that not need grounding. Only need make in right time smaller preshure, than background and then energy comes from background to coils. But with ground wire not need three phases, so more easy made.

Last time I did a small Tesla coil and another coil with the primary as I saw on youtube.
I managed to light a 25w bulb. One have to adjust the 3rd coil to get in resonance to light the bulb.
Menofather can you post a diagram on what you're trying to say regarding the toaster you mentioned?

The iron wire is not important it is only helping to hold the magnets.
You can make coil from whatever you want. as long as is conductive.
The resistive component of impedance still would not count much.

----------- coil---------------- the lines are hanging wires of dipole antenna . the frequency of transmitter is tuned to resonant frequency of shorted winds by "magnet-short clamp" That means shorted  winds  by shorting bracket ( in this case magnet) tune entire coil to preset frequency of  transmitter.
You can  also do it reverse. Simply tune transmitter to coil without  magnets at all but than there would not be " magic influence."
Many will  immediately see B.S. in its  easy to smell form.
Magnet is not important it just short wires to reach tuned frequency of transmitter.and change capacitive and inductive components of coil.
The approximate properties of coil at 3.0099 MHz - C=4.66nF and 600nH at say 6 winds of 1.74 inch diameter. I did not yet take to calculation dipole at 1/4 lambda

You can have many frequencies of response you like say for 2m or 70cm Ham radio transceiver
You even do not need any coil at all just two wires of right length.
But go more than that It is not important to heave wires just the "inventor" was cleaver enough to connect his motor to inner ends of motor not to ends of wires because impedance at the end is to big.And impedance of  shielded coil of the motor was just right to tune circuit well.

He actually shows you tuning by showing difference with and without magnets While hidden transmitter was all the time ON.

You will see voltage with magnets o( well shorting pins on magnetic filed  do not count  there)
And without magnets DE-TUNED.
That rapid change says about frequency change out of resonance frequency of transmitter at significant rate .
That only happened if frequency of resonance is around 400MHz.

Put it on  Wayne Kerr Precision Magnetic Analyzer PMA3260
At random 3MHz I found 600nH and 4.66nF
Than I went to calculator to check my  readings

it shows  me   frequency of response  3.0099 MHz
I did not include the two hanging wires as of yet as a dipole say 1/2 lambda- that would indicate that  real frequency could be much much  higher


any how who cares  plenty of frequencies would work there. you have also complication with vertical  coil I call it "idiots coil"
