COP>1 principle.
Let's compare what is happening in air core Tesla style transformer in two situations, at non-resonant frequency and at resonant frequency in ideal conditions,we do not count losses, coupling coeficiencies ect.
1. Non resonant frequency.
source- 1000V sinus, 1 Amp , Power in P1= U x I x cos, P1= 1000W x 0,9=900W
primary- 10 turns
secondary-1000 turns
frequency- any non resonant
Voltage on secondary is dependent only from coils turns ratio n1/n2= V1/V2  , V2= V1 x n2/n1 = 1000V x 1000/10 = 100kV
Current on the secondary n1/n2= I2/I1 , I2= I1 x n1/n2 = 1 Amp x 10/1000 = 0.01Amp
No more voltage at the secondary is possible, 100kV is maximum.It is "normal" transformer action, transfer of energy from primary to secondary.
Now if we step down secondary to one turn coil we will have V3= V2 x n3/n2 = 100kV x 1/1000 = 100V , current I3= I2 x n2/n3= 0.01 Amp x 1000 = 10 Amp
Power out P2= 100V x 10 Amp x 0.9 = 900W


2. Resonant frequency.
source-1000V sinus, 1 Amp , Power in P1= U x I x cos,  P1= 1000V x 1 Amp x 0.2 = 200W   ( cos at high frequencies is much lower)
primary -10 turns
secondary-1000 turns
resonant frequency let's say f=10kHz and secondary capacitance C= 5pF
Now turns ratio and "normal" transformer action is not in play, now we have resonant superposition of waves at secondary coil, which acts like a transmission line where amplitude adds up every wave period.
Starting from 1000V , at 10kHz resonant frequency after 1 sec theoretically voltage will raise V2=1000V x 10 000 = 10MV
Current at secondary ground connection I2= 2 x Pi x V2 x f x C = 3,14Amp
Now if we step down secondary to one turn coil in "normal" transformer way  we will have V3= V2 x n3/n2 = 10MV x 1/1000 = 10kV
I3=I2 x n2/n3 = 3,14 Amp x 1000 = 3.14kA
Power P= UI cos = 10000V x 3140 Amp x 0.2  x 0.01= 62800 W   ( it is mostly reactive power and 0.01 counts for 1 % of what we could use)
Do you see a difference in numbers?
310 times more out of resonant system.Why? Because this time there is energy "acummulation" in play, not just energy "transfer". Of course that rough calculations do not take into account all losses, factors ect. but are showing a principle of gain. In real scenario 10MV at secondary is impossible and corona discharge will happen sooner, there will be losses, low efficiency in converting reactive power into real power, and gain will be much  less than 310 times. But there will be a gain.

I agree if the current is from ground, in other words if this system is open like in patent I posted lately. There is voltage difference between ground and above ground  and seems that clever build tesla coil can imitate long antenna without going very high.
