Very good, forest.  This that one above I had forgotten about, but I did say in my description elsewhere on this thread, one of the figures in the patent has an embodiment dealing with charging batteries from the Tesla coil(s).

Also, Edwin Gray was granted a patent for a system that used a certain type of rather capacitively induced wire-and-cylinder coupled component.  Rexresearch.com may have a reference.

RE-EDIT:
Here you go:

Gray's motor and power supply.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

A TV antenna that can fit on the back of the set.  Can be expanded:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=5ptUAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=antenna+loop+RF&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#4,801,944
Similar to #2,657,312.  For a radio, that can be anlarged:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=KAw4AAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#4,051,479
This one can be mounted on a pole, for less efficiency:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=mlITAAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#3,259,901
Should be mounted on a much longer pole(Fig. 2):

http://www.google.com/patents?id=xYhpAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=patent:4801944&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#3,215,937
An ELF, HAARP system for very large applications:

This system can be enlarged greatly(Fig. 4).  A circular set of interspaced arcs:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=yRFzAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=antenna+loop+RF&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#2,469,209
A single-ended system to a coax, with a three-dimensional closed circle:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=5ptUAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=antenna+loop+RF&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

Zigzag, 3-dimensional, triangular system---pole mountable, with tuning coils:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=ArJOAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=patent:4801944&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#1,429,240
This one is related to Earth Batteries.  The question is, will adding a long wire, either above or below ground, affect performance?

http://www.google.com/patents?id=-q5TAAAAEBAJ&pg=PA1&dq=patent:4801944&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#1,424,365
This one is above and below ground.  Generally for radiotelegraphy:

And, it ran from the 'preview' screen on the computer I'm borrowing.

I wonder what effect this thing would have on a Joule Thief?

http://www.google.com/patents?id=XbYYAAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#v=onepage&q=&f=false

#3,428,886
Both Figs. 5A & 5B plus the 'prior art' Figs. might be usable in a Joule Thief:

http://www.google.com/patents?id=NIdgAAAAEBAJ&pg=PP1&dq=patent:3731237&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap=&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap=&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is=&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is=&num=100&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=2#v=onepage&q=&f=false
NOTE:
The number on this patent 'Web address doesn't match the patent number.  Same thing with every one below to the end.  That's the way it copied from the web browser.  I don't know why.  They give different patents when I click on them, though.

Also, 'Web addresses probably won't work if any part of it's in bold letters.  I tried with this address.
