I will not need a permit for the home and if they break in they will not survive.I have a whole ten minutes to do what I need to do.They will be found inside my house.I used to raise and kill rabbits to eat.So if you break in on me and I am afraid for my life.I will use all means to survive.triffid

I am serious about having a firearm and learning how to use it.The police are so short handed and will not reach you in time for a home invasion.Its part of my new reality.There are people out there who will take what you have by force.And leave you dead and bleeding in the streets.I put up extra lights and a motion detector to keep these squatters away.If they still break in I still have a right to protect myself.It is what it is and I think its bad enough for me to own a gun at this point.triffid

please don't forget my good buddies winchester and Remington.
long arms will give you more thump and less chance of putting one in your foot.
in a built up area i think bird shot would be best since it will not carry near
the distance of even a pistol.at close range it will do serious damage.
probably less paper work as well.
