To a practicing curmudgeon, the presidential contest is amusing but unimportant. Hillary will win, whether she wins or not. She is just the wave front of deep and fast-flowing currents of decay that cannot be stopped. Trump may try, but he cannot succeed. We live in a dying culture and, soon, a diminished country. It cannot be saved.

I would submit the opposite and it is not decay but growth. I talked with a young man who owns the internet while the majority have trouble with email. I know a man who has a working free energy device while the majority must hire an electrician to change a light fixture. I designed and built my last three houses by myself minus the concrete work while the majority cannot even build a simple deck. Many people have literally no idea how to change the tire on their car.


It is not decay it is the fact some are moving ahead at the speed of light while the majority are at a stand still. The majority fall further and further behind the technology curve while still presuming to be equals when there is no equality to be found. They are dinosaurs clinging to the past and the one's moving forward refuse to wait for the future.


So yes things are going to get a little sketchy because many have evolved to a point the average person cannot even begin to understand. What you fail to understand is that there are two civilizations evolving, one has almost no limitations and the other cannot seem to balance their cheque book. So yes there is trouble brewing however it's not what you think because we do not want to "fit in" we want to get as far away from the stupidity we see as humanly possible.


It is going to be interesting I will give you that.

On a side note:


It has been proven that many civilizations existed in the past that had advanced technology and all of these civilizations were destroyed. The Greeks had central heating, indoor plumbing, functional sewers and water works and advanced astronomical instruments while Europe was still in the stone ages. A few instruments found had extremely intricate gear work mechanisms which few if any here could replicate even today. How is it a man a thousand years ago could understand and build devices none of you here could today?.


The common theme is that there have always been segments of society which learn and understand things much faster than everyone else and the uneducated oppress them. Not unlike the anti-science/Trump movement we are seeing today and in my opinion there is no reasoning with them. My guess is the intelligent people in past civilizations came to this same understanding and decided to opt out of a losing proposition. They went their separate way and continued to evolve and build better technology.


It may help when we consider the fact most people who have seen a UFO in close proximity tend to piss their pants, run in fear or shoot at them rather than ask... I wonder how that works, I wonder who is in control of that machine and can I get a ride?. It seems to me that once again our civilization is approaching a cross road where one segment moves forward into the future and another attempts to move backwards into the past.


The question is... would someone give advanced technology to everyone knowing many segments would use it to oppress or destroy them and most likely everyone?. Well no the argument is absurd which is why you will never see advanced technology and those intelligent enough to build it will never give it away. As such once again history is bound to repeat itself, the majority have already decided through their own actions that history will repeat itself.
