Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Speaking of eating crap to survive I know of a way to eat most anything that spoiled.Even if it smells bad.One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to 8 oz of water. Most food posioning is due to a nasty bacteria called samonella which is killed right in your stomach if you drink the vinegar water before you eat the food. The acetic acid in the apple cider vinegar is the active ingredient. Its also good insurance to drink it after you eat something that may have been spoiled.I ate some hot dogs that were spoiled last week.I should not have but I had the vinegar water handy.I had no problems at all.Now if the food is posioned with something else then my vinegar water will not work on say metal posioning.triffid

I don't know if applecider vinegar water works for E.coli.I only know that it works for samonella food posioning.I would never eat anything with mold on it either. If you have some money to try to preserve Then you might be interested in the comments below:

In the meantime, there's no question you must continue to protect your wealth like never before. That means ...
A. Holding gold in various mediums: Physical, ETFs, gold mutual funds, and mining shares.
B. Staying OUT of the U.S. Treasury note and bond markets. Period.
C. Being very careful in the broad U.S. and European stock markets. They remain vulnerable in the short term, but long term, I am becoming more and more bullish due to the near constant devaluations of the dollar, the consequence of which will ultimately mean reflation in stocks.
D. Investing in regions of the world that are growing, where there are no indebted countries, where there are consumers spending money, and where entrepreneurship is leapfrogging higher.
That's Asia, where there are huge opportunities to grow your wealth, and where there will be for years to come

I have very few specifics like the currency ETF I gave eariler.triffid

Looks llike this might get voted on today:"Now, is this the deal I would have preferred? No," Obama said. "But this compromise does make a serious down payment on the deficit reduction we need, and gives each party a strong incentive to get a balanced plan done before the end of the year."
The legislation would slice more than $2 trillion from federal spending over a decade and permit the nation's $14.3 trillion borrowing cap to rise by up to $2.4 trillion, enough to keep the government afloat through the 2012 elections - a key objective for Obama, whose poll numbers have sagged as the summertime crisis dragged on.
Oh yeah the article was titled Congress moves quickly.Like we already know how that is.

Both sides don't like this much.  Some on either side don't like it a lot.  The Tea Partyers, for one.  It's still far from "a done deal", as they say sometimes.

Uh huh.  There was still a filibuster going on, I believe.  Otherwise more debate is probably planned.  That's how they are.

Got paid today.  I'm getting sodas first.  2 liter bottles keep months and are on sale where I go.  Dry and canned food items are next.  Even if this is a false alarm toward "The Collapse", it's a good idea anyway.  I was a Boy Scout once.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.
