It was interesting to hear what Mr.Thom Day had to say about the human body not surviving zero gee to go anywhere in space for long periods of time.Questionable yes?Still no guts no glory.Going to the moon and returning after a few days is not the same as spending two years on the moon.If we are so frail then the moon is 100 times more important than we thought?What if we had a trillion dollar moon program.Instead of a trillion dollar war program.Which one would insure the survival of man as a species if a big enough rock hits the earth wiping out those on the earth? Not the trillion dollar WAR program for sure!I think we are so shortsighted we are dooming ourselfs to extinction.triffid

The life cycle begins and ends for anything living.  Besides, it was an asteroid hitting the Yucatan that did them in.  They lasted for 150-200 million yrs.  Very successful for a bunch of reptiles.
