Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

I have been watching the pastor Larry Rice TV channel 24.2 here in st.louis,mo. for 24/7 the past two weeks. And made some decisions. My next car I buy will be diesel and I will modify it to run off of used veggie oil.Just very slight modifications.Strain it until its clean, warm it up so its thin.Start the car on reg diesel, warm the veggie oil up,switch over to it,switch it back to reg diesel before you shut off the car.If your veggie oil is free you only pay for the reg diesel that you use.The old guy in the video clip I saw had enough for a 3000 mile trip onboard(about 20 gallons).I pay about $100.00 a month for gasoline. So in a ten year period I could save $12,000 in ten years assuming I can get my veggie oil for free.triffid

Lee,I have been busy waiting to see what happens next here.  ...
Hey, triffid,
I've been watching both Europe (Cyprus) and N. Korea.  Both are bad enough to give the economy a push off 'the edge'.   Anyone who thinks things will go on forever as is hasn't looked at or remembered history clearly.
That engineering job I said I'd get is heading for reality.   I mostly do research for it rather than continue here.   I've run into couple of Members on the research site I correspond with who act just like "WilbyInebriated" here at OU.com     It's like they're triplets or someone trained them all to act exactly the same way in a classroom setting.   However, I'm smart enough to to be as snide to them as they are to me.   After that, they and those like them usually STFU.
I'm really glad that this thread is doing so well.   I think the poll alone is the biggest one on OU.com   I would contribute more, but my age and genetic problems are catching up with me and to be honest, there's nothing that can be done.   Genes are genes.   We all have to live with how we're born.   Some things can be done, yes, but with others, they're set in stone, so to speak.
I have what the ability of a shamistic-oriented Native American to survive and I have an exit plan from S.F.   Everyone else will have to get by as best they can.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

Hi Lee,Always a pleasure to hear from you.I have been bidding my time waiting to see what happens here in the USA next.I now find myself now waiting to see what happens next in Cyprus on monday.I have been learning new things. For instance the USA is still number one in manufacturing in the world,I learned that we make more stuff today than ever in our history. The labor intensive, lower value manufacturing jobs have gone overseas, never to come back. But the higher value jobs have remained.Auto making is really big in the USA.12 million cars are sold in the USA every year.Computer chip manufacturing is still really big in the USA.Manufacturing accounts for 12 % of the US economy today. As compared to 20% about 20 years ago.Services account for the rest of the economy.

It seems that a person is left on his own to provide for himself more now than in the last 50 years.Corporations have gone overseas to save money while still using the resources of the USA for their benefit. So they use the cheap labor in other lands while still selling their products in the USA.

I learned today that a truckload of donuts can make over 200 gallons of ethanol and provide the oils to burn to distill the alcohol from the donut wine.Don't laugh,I have a source of free donuts. At least a trashbag a week.GIVES ME A SOURCE OF FREE SUGAR.

I also learned that most grasses have a certain amount of sugar in them. Not a lot maybe, but some of the rye grasses have 50% more sugar in them than other grasses. Also the sunchokes I planted, their stalks can supply enough sugars three times a year to make 400 gallons of ethanol per acre or a total of 1200 gallons a years per acre.So used veggie oil and sugars (used to make ethanol) can be burned in a diesel engine. This will be my exit plan when gas hits $12.00 a gallon ten years from now.
