When I think of 340,000 possible earths.I think we should stop acting like children and set forth into the cosmos . To colonize as many planets as possible

The thought of 340,000 planet Earths within our
galaxy is a bit frightening.  Until we learn to
overcome our desires to enslave and destroy
we should be barred from galactic ambitions.

What Planet Earth has become is Hell.

I doubt that those nefarious elites who rule this
planet will ever stop acting like unruly children.

triffid, you might have a point...?
       One of the reasons I will have been hired to my uncoming job is because I can design military offensive and defensive weapon systems to put people to work and provide a economic boost to certain defense related industries.
       Sure, it's saber-rattling by itself, but IMO, my employer's own company analysts, who also had a voice in recommending my being hired---and my own intuition---indicates, as triffid predicts and suggests, a military showdown could be coming over Syrian defense by Russia and Iran as well, while we have---I believe?---fewer warships in that part of the world than the Russians do.

While I consider myself fairly religious, I'll frame my response in those readily recognizable parameters...
I believe the evil in leaders spiritual and emotional mind's and soul's is increasing, IMHO, and they themselves will probably be forced to stop trashing the planet for their own good, and ours, as well by some Higher Force and Greater Good, whether they like it or not.

And I agree.   I feel like Job in the Old Testament, sometimes.   I predict more people will feel like me and begin taking 'matters into their own hands', because they may think they have nothing else to lose.   Death may be preferable to more and more suffering without end.

Maybe not, as long as they're alive.   I believe karma can sneek up on a person and deal a decisive 'kick in the crotch', and these elite "children" will find out they can't have it all their way, all the time.

I was very surprised when Obama did not order a strike on his own,but decided to take it to the congress instead.Now the American public?The last time congress was involved was right after Pearl Harbor.Right then the USA declared war on Japan.All the other military actions after that was not brought before congress.Instead the president ordered them on his own.From what I understand.


As for the 340,000 earthlike worlds in the milky way.We will have to grow up some more to even reach them.Also a world 6.1 times the mass of the earth means 6.1 times the weight.So a 200 lb man on earth becomes over 1200 lbs on the earthlike world just mentioned.triffid
