Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

Analysts said U.S. economic sanctions would likely have little impact on Russia unless they were paired with strong measures by major European nations, which have deeper trade ties with Moscow and are dependent on Russian gas.

Hopefully cool heads will prevail here.Hopefully no shots will be fired and hopefully no one will die.

On a brighter note I found and read a book titled"From Debt to Wealth on $10.00 a Day---Pay It Down!" written by Jean Chatzky c.c.2004.It gives everyone whos in debt a plan to follow to be debt free in 5 years. It talks mostly about credit card debt. This thread is not about books but about the American Economy.I am in a unique situation here.I have a very cheap source of books.$1.50 per hardback and 50 cents per paperback no matter how big.Basically I buy those books on finances that appeal to me.Being retired and on a fixed income how to manage my money is very important to me.If I find a great book I will share it here.Any of you who are interested enough to read can locate these books in your area.As I have noted here a very big American problem is that a bunch of you dont read.triffid

We are not ready for the Russians, Vlad knows it, and he is going to keep taking what he wants. He is gearing up, this is what happens before every major show down. He took back Georgia a couple years ago, reestablished ties with Belarus, secured their borders much better than we have and is a country that is flush with cash, unlike us operating at a deficit and owing the Chinese trillions. And when push comes to shove do you not think China, when it wants its money back won't side with Russia? Both of these countries have had a Machiavellian mentality and employed carefully constructed games of brinkmanship for centuries. Of course Iran will side with them, cause they want some of that natural , and to be able to control reserves in the Caspian Sea, and you can bet Pakistan will join in. Gee we have France which is overrun by Muslims and the UK, wow. While we've been championing gay rights, legal weed, fairness the Russians have been building and gearing up.

March 9th ,this Sunday coming up the new"Cosmos" series starts. An airbear is featured in the ads for the new program. They are tiny multicellar creatures that live in moss.I have moss around my house so I guess I have some of those things nearby.Fox2 hosts the show.

I guess LA is very expensive,Lee.
It is.   I live in San Francisco, now, but I grew up in L.A.   S.F. is just as expensive.

I have been reading a great book."Making the Most of Your Money" by Jane Bryant Quinn  C.C.1991.Although a little dated it explains a lot about finances and how to create wealth from the money that you do earn.
I learned the basics of the stock market and the financial American economy on TV for 2 years when I had free cable at a homeless domicile/shelter run by the Salvation Army.   Speaking of which:

Right.   Get ready for a super-duper recession when this happens.   I BELIEVE it WILL happen, too.   I do have an exit plan, so this development above doesn't bother me.   Others might not be ready, however.''

Oh, BTW, triffid, I've been doing okay except my health.   I was born with a couple of genetic diseases that are getting more troublesome in my mid-sixties, now.   They don't kill, but they do make life a more unpleasant as I get older.

The economy, as it was predicted, is poised for a real downturn and not everyone is ready for it.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.
