Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

The U.S. Geological Survey announced this week that they have determined that an area of west Texas known as the Wolfcamp shale of the Midland Basin, Permian Basin Province, contains 20 billion barrels of recoverable oil and 16 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas.. This would make it the largest oil and gas field in the United States, three times larger than the Bakken Shale area of North Dakota which has produced huge amounts of oil and gas in recent years and contributed the the United States becoming the largest producer of oil and gas in the world.

Not to mention what reserves are found in Alaska, which are even bigger yet.
So, let just keep it up until we can't breath any longer, like China has done. Or where I was born, in Venezuela, with the biggest fresh water lake in the world, that drains to the ocean. 4th largest oil producer in the world. Now, after all the drilling rigs there in Maracaibo, lake Maracaibo is now green and smells like rotten eggs. And the people there are getting sick, and are being paid by the nationalized oil companies to move away from there, among other gross situations that the government has caused. And where the people are starving, and have to go to Columbia to buy food. What country will be next?
The irony is that now in the U.S, even any fireplaces will also be outlawed, as well as any wood stoves.
Seems a bit lopsided to me.  Are they trying to control us in that way as well?

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

That's fine if we want to keep burning things up, for now, but there are better and cleaner ways to go towards self sufficiency.

This last Hurricane OTTO just passed Costa Rica, fortunately I was not affected, as I live on the Pacific side of the country.
However, the eastern coastline, as well as the northern part of the country did not fare so well. It was the worst disaster seen in this country, as well as in Panama, Nicaragua,  with total 4 countries seriously affected.

So, in a matter of just a few hours of rain and strong wind, your whole life can be changed. No matter how well you prepare for it.

I am well, as where I live is a special place, not affected by the 7 point earthquake that happened yesterday, either.
   No volcanoes near by, either.
That is why I'm here, for the last 33 years, in this particular location, protected from most mayor Earth changes, and catastrophies. Where food can be grown year-round, and with plenty of fresh water, as well.
